Abstract: In partnership with several campus units (including the Cancer Center at Illinois) and the Roy J. Carver Charitable Trust, the Biomedical Imaging Center (BIC) at Beckman Institute has recently added a shared 9.4 T Bruker Biospec small animal MRI system. The presenters will discuss the capabilities of the system and show examples of initial studies that have started. They will also discuss its interface to other imaging modalities in BIC and how to get started.
