- Please join us for an orientation session for all first year and transfer students in Illinois ECE. Sponsored by corporate partner Texas Instruments, Liftoff will introduce you to the different research areas in the department and the many ECE-affiliated student organizations. Additionally, you will have an opportunity to ask questions of current students re: daily life and the curriculum.All students will receive a class t-shirt in the lobby after the presentation.Not able to join in person?
