"The many facets of light activated matter: From energy sustainability to quantum information"
We explore light-activated processes in materials and molecules using first principles, quantum mechanical calculations. Our aim is to address two outstanding challenges: Designing sustainable materials to efficiently capture and store solar energy, and predicting systems, for example spin qubits, for the realization of emerging quantum technologies.
