Calling all graduate students! You're engaged in fascinating, ground-breaking research. Your archival work, ethnographies, and textual analysis are transformative. You can analyze a data set like nobody's business. You design, choreograph, sculpt, compose, and create works that can change the world. But can you get a general audience interested and excited about what you do in only 3 minutes?
That's the challenge offered by Research Live!
Now in its sixth edition, Research Live! asks graduate students from all disciplines at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to celebrate their work and hone their presentation skills by recording a compelling 3-minute research talk.

Finalists will be featured in the 6th Annual Research Live! Virtual Showcase
This year's Research Live! Virtual Showcase will be held on April 12 beginning at 5 p.m. CST. via Zoom and is open to the public.
Awards
A panel of judges will award three prizes in the final round. Attendees will vote for the People's Choice Award:
- First prize: $300
- Second prize: $200
- Third prize: $150
- People's Choice: $100
