This talk will describe a number of applications of the relatively newly realized epitaxial superconductor-semiconductor hybrid materials, including superconductor-insulator transitions, voltage-controlled superconducting qubits, and topological superconductivity. This versatile new system has a lot of attractive knobs for basic and applied condensed matter physics. Research supported by Microsoft and the Danish National Research Foundation.
