NASA’s vision of Urban Air Mobility (UAM) is a safe and efficient air transportation system where everything from small package delivery drones to passenger-carrying air taxis operate above populated areas. UAM is an exciting new branch of aviation requiring the development of new vehicles, new rules and regulations, and new air traffic management paradigms. Dr. Arneson will give an overview of UAM and discuss NASA’s role in enabling UAM.
