7 months ago, the SCD team was deep into the planning for an October 2020 grand opening and dedication for our brand-new building. COVID-19 turned everything upside-down, of course, and due to construction delays and ongoing uncertainty, we had to pivot. We're now planning to celebrate the building's full completion in spring 2021; in the meantime, we're offering up SCD's very first Virtual Open House.
Yes! We want YOU to virtually visit with SCD Director Rachel Switzky and the SCD team this Friday, October 16 at 4pm CDT. Visitors will see and hear from Rachel about SCD's projects and our future plans, AND get the sneakiest of peeks into the brand new Siebel Center for Design building. (!!!) In addition, team members will offer brief presentations showing their current work, and there'll even be time for a Q&A before we wrap for the weekend.
