In a world where digital technology is embedded into every aspect of our lives, businesses need to accelerate innovation processes and find new sources of inspiration to stay ahead of change. This is especially true for companies whose core products are not digital but are becoming increasingly digitally-enabled.

Lessons from Silicon Valley and consumer-facing tech companies can provide insights to B2B companies looking to accelerate the pace of digital innovation and development. Caterpillar Chief Digital Officer Ogi Redzic will share how these lessons are informing Caterpillar’s digital strategy and propelling the 95-year-old company into the next century of growth.

Ogi Redzic is Chief Digital Officer and vice president of Caterpillar Inc. with responsibility for Cat Digital. He manages key components of the company’s digital strategy including connectivity, enterprise data and e-commerce platforms, the digital platform, analytics and applications.

Prior to joining Caterpillar in 2018, Redzic led Renault-Nissan Alliance’s connected car and mobility activities as Alliance Senior Vice President, Connected Vehicles and Mobility Services. Redzic has more than 20 years’ experience, including additional positions at Nokia, NAVTEQ, Motorola, PCTEL and at wireless communication startup cyberPIXIE.

Located in Chicago, Redzic has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Northeastern Illinois University, a master’s degree in computer science from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and a master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He also serves on the Assurant, Inc. Board of Directors.
