Are you a woman or minority gender student interested in STEM? Do you want to learn how to build a rocket, construct tools for astronauts, or design theoretical space missions? Then the Illinois Space Society is the place for you! On September 2nd at 7 PM CST the Illinois Space Society is hosting “Women in Tech”, a panel featuring six active female members of our most notable technical projects. From rocketry and rovers to habitats and hybrid engines, these panelists will be sharing their contributions to ISS, what it is like to be involved in a technical project, and how it has impacted their engineering experience. While the event is geared towards freshmen, we welcome anyone and everyone to listen in on these women’s experiences and ask questions of your own!
