The NIH Grant Writing Series, sponsored by the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute, is designed to prepare junior faculty (years 2+) to submit an R01 or other individual investigator proposal to the NIH, with particular attention this year toward COVID-19 opportunities.
This session will give an overview of the structure of the NIH and the various funding mechanisms. Participants will learn to effectively communicate with Program Officers, and get tips for planning a successful proposal. A panel of faculty members will lead the session.
