Educated at the University of Illinois and the University of Chicago, and after spending almost 30 years in the telecommunications industry, finishing that segment of his career as a global vice-president at the data center giant Equinix, Andy Sigle entered the next phase of his work-life focusing on his local community of Reston, Virginia.
Graduating from the Leadership Fairfax program in 2014, Andy switched gears and embarked on a series of volunteer and part-time employment opportunities in the community including time with Cornerstones, Reston Association, South Lakes High School, Southgate Community Center, Reston Historic Trust and The Reston Chorale. A proud recipient of the 2018 Best of Reston award, Andy is immediate past president of the Reston Association board of directors and is now working part-time as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of External Relations at Leadership Fairfax, Inc.
You will also find him brewing/bartending at Lake Anne Brew House and leading yoga classes at Homegrown Power Yoga.
