Andy Elsbury is Co-Founder and acting President of Nexxt Spine LLC. Indiana based Nexxt Spine is a pioneer in the manufacturing and national distribution of spinal solutions. Recognized for leading the industry in innovatively engineered spinal instruments and implants, the company has grown under Mr. Elsbury’s leadership to be a front-runner in this medical device sector. The flagship NEXXT MATRIXX® product line is one of Mr. Elsbury’s most revered accomplishments to date. The portfolio of 3D printed porous titanium spinal cages has pushed bioengineering limits.
On a daily basis, Mr. Elsbury oversees Nexxt Spine’s management of product development, regulatory and FDA compliance, IP, finance, marketing, and sales. During his presidency the company has grown tenfold since its inception in 2009.
As a serial entrepreneur, Mr. Elsbury has launched several other successful companies throughout his professional career. Most notably include: Custom Partnership Network (custom home building software), OMC Precision Products, purchased by Paragon Medical in 2007 (designs and manufactures spinal implants), Operations Management Consulting (automotive/medical industry quality control), AbiCade (manufactures sporting goods) and Sentry Technologies, Inc. (designs and manufactures construction materials).
Mr. Elsbury is a proud alumnus of the University of Illinois. His degrees from the University of Illinois include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Master of Science in Industrial Engineering with a concentration in Operations Management, and a Master of Business Administration. He has also served on two alumni boards for the University: Department of Mechanical Engineering (2003- Present) and Department of Industrial & Enterprise Systems Engineering (Past President) (2007 to Present).
Mr. Elsbury presently holds multiple US patents and copyrights. He resides in Indianapolis with his wife and three children.
