Join the Pre-Law Advising Office as we host a panel of UIUC alumni to discuss some of the many possibilities available during “gap years” prior to law school. Taking time prior to law school is an increasingly common pathway for many UIUC students. This can be a very beneficial choice for many prospective law students and is a pathway favored by some law schools. Attendees will hear first-hand perspectives on taking time prior to law school, as well as insights about specific types of opportunities pursued during this time. Our panelists include the following individuals:
Jack McNabb – JusticeCorps Fellow at the Chicago Daley Center
Alexandra Nevarez – Project Assistant at Sidley Austin, LLP
Kimberly Wilson – Master of Science in Comparative and International Education, 1L at the University of Illinois College of Law
Rachel Finegold – Operations Analyst at Marsh McLennan Agency, 1L at the University of Chicago Law School
Tyeese Braslavsky - James H. Dunn Memorial Policy Fellow at Office of the Governor of Illinois, 1L at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law
