This conversation series brings faculty members to the Illini Center in Chicago to share their research and engage in focused discussions with Grainger Engineering alumni and friends. Registration for this event is $15 and includes lunch.
Professor Garcia is the M.T. Geoffrey Yeh Endowed Chair of Civil Engineering and serves as director of the Ven Te Chow Hydrosystems Laboratory. He is a leading expert in water resources engineering and science, and his courses cover Water Resources Engineering, Hydraulic Analysis and Design, Environmental Hydrodynamics, Sediment Transport, River Mechanics, Mixing in Environmental Flows and Open-Channel Hydraulics.
