The Voyager Scholarship (Obama-Chesky Scholarship for Public Service) provides up to $80,000 ($25,000/yr of financial aid for junior and senior year, $10,000 for a summer experience, and $2,000 annually for 10 years for travel) for students focused on public service careers. U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or DACA recipients who are entering their junior year with a 3.0+ GPA and demonstrated financial need are eligible.
The National and International Scholarships Program is offering an online Voyager Scholarship information session to provide interested applicants with an overview of the scholarship and an opportunity to hear tips from a scholarship recipient. The online info session will be held from 9:00am - 10:00am.
On Friday, February 5, 2027 there will also be an in person Voyager Workshop from 3:00pm - 4:00pm in 514 IUB.
