The European Union Center's 12th Illinois EU Studies Conference ("Sustainable Europe") will take place during the afternoons of Wednesday, April 20 through Friday, April 22. This signature annual conference serves as a great opportunity for scholars and college instructors with interests in EU studies to share current research, connect with one another and explore solutions to shared challenges, and learn about other opportunities that the EU Center at the University of Illinois sponsors. This year's conference features a mix of sessions, including research presentation panels, invited speakers, and a game design workshop for those interested in pedagogy. The conference will conclude with a symposium on nuclear fusion technology and its implications for the environment, security, and policy.
