Russian, E. European & Eurasian Center: Co-sponsored Events

The US National Security Education Program’s David L. Boren Fellowship promotes linguistic and cultural immersion in specific world regions in combination with public (governmental) service. The program is open to U.S. citizens in any field of study. This fellowship is a unique opportunity for graduate students to study less commonly taught languages (and conduct research, if desired) in world regions that are critical to U.S. national security interests, including: Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Come learn more about NSEP’s broad definition of national security and the many agencies where fellows have fulfilled the public service requirement from Michael Saffle, Outreach & Recruitment Specialist for the Boren Awards.
