About Art Remastered
Since 2017, musicians in Urbana-Champaign have written and performed songs inspired by artworks on display at Krannert Art Museum as part of the annual Art Remastered program. Conceived and organized by Kamila Glowacki, Art Remastered transforms the art museum into a lab for musicians across various musical genres and backgrounds to expand their creative practice, a sanctuary for audience members to reflect and experience artworks through alternate perspectives and modalities, and a space for communities to gather and share in the experience of each performance.
