The American Physical Society (APS) is a nonprofit organization with more than 50,000 members in academia, national labs, and industry across the world. Even if you're already a member or have attended APS meetings before, there are many other membership benefits available to us students!
Being a member is free for your first year (and less than $40 afterward) and gives you access to many valuable resources useful no matter your career stage in physics: internship/job preparation tools, mentorship programs, travel awards, scientific communities, meetings, and more that I'll cover in this talk.
