I will introduce the concept of RG flows on the probability distribution of couplings for the random Ising model and discuss the fixed point behavior. I will also discuss the enrichment of the phase diagram that occurs in systems with a boundary. Then I will talk about some of the work I've done using real space RG techniques to study the boundary criticality classes of the random Ising model in 2D.
