Despite the incredibly old relationship between physics and mathematics, many experts ponder how they work so harmoniously together. Abstract ideas in mathematics smoothly migrate to physics, and in turn, physics necessitates developments in mathematics. Does this compatibility indicate some underlying mathematical structure of the universe? Or does the universe not behave as well as we think?
