Abstract: Ultracold elemental mixtures provide unique possibilities for the studies related to few- and many-body physics such as Efimov physics, polar molecules and heteronuclear spin dynamics. In this talk, I will report two experiments related to the Bose-Bose mixture of Na and Rb. First, I will talk about the detections of Bose polarons with the Rb impurities immersed in Bose-Einstein condensates (BEC) of Na atoms. For the trap-averaged spectra, near quantitative agreement between the theory and experimental data can be observed without any fitting parameters. Secondly, I will discuss our recent observation of quantum droplet in the heteronuclear mixture Rb and Na BEC. A phase diagram related to the interaction strength and atomic number is obtained.
