On April 11th, at 6:00 PM, in 1090 Lincoln Hall you are invited to watch a screening of a documentary (in Portuguese with English subtitles) focused on Italian immigration in Brazil, organized by the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, the Department of French and Italian, and the School of Literatures, Cultures, and Linguistics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. This event commemorates 150 years of cultural exchange between Brazil and Italy. It will commence with a brief reception, followed by the documentary screening, and will conclude with a discussion involving community members on the subject matter.
