This semester the EU Center is delighted to offer a series of publicly available “conversations” with five Former Members of the European Parliament. These conversations will take place as part of the meetings of a pilot EU Center course, The Everyday Making of the European Parliament and Parliamentarians.

Moderated by course instructor and EUC Associate Director Jonathan Larson, each conversation will focus on “cases” of past projects, legislation, initiatives, or crises that the Former MEP found particularly rewarding, vexing, or enlightening for understanding the negotiation of European unity and the role that multi-national institutions such as the European Parliament have played in it. These conversations are open to the public.
