Teachers around the world are currently experiencing (and experimenting with) massive changes in their professional lives. This session of Global Views of COVID 19 gives educators an opportunity to collectively reflect on this extraordinary moment in their personal and professional lives. Participants will hear directly from colleagues in other states and countries, and engage in discussion about their experiences, challenges, and thoughts about teaching during a pandemic.
This session will be held via Zoom. It will feature brief presentations by teachers from Croatia, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, the U.K., and the U.S. (Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Ohio). Presenters are drawn from this year's TED Alumni program cohort. Following presentations, participants will engage in in-depth discussion in break-out rooms.
This event is open only to teachers of students age 3 - 23, plus education administrators. The session will not be recorded, and registration is required. After registering, you will be sent the Zoom link. You may register here: https://tinyurl.com/ycfdrzlj.
