Goldwater applicants preparing for the November campus deadline, join us for an application workshop at the Campus Instructional Facility on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 from 5-6:30pm.
Attendees will have the opportunity to work with former Goldwater recipients, STEM consultants from the UIUC Writers Workshop (WW), and advisors from the National & International Scholarships Program (NIS) and Grainger Undergraduate Research.
NIS will provide an application process overview. WW consultants will share advice for STEM writing. Goldwater recipients will offer application advice from first-hand experience. All will provide feedback on your applications-in-progress, so bring what you have written, brainstormed, outlined, etc. No completed drafts are required for you to attend this session.
