Applying for a Fulbright, Marshall, or Rhodes scholarship in fall 2026? Join the National & International Scholarships Program and the Speakers Workshop for an interactive session on preparing for campus interviews!

- NIS will provide a brief overview of the campus interview process and expectations for each award.
- Representatives from the Speakers Workshop will guide students in how to prepare for interviews, and share tips and tricks to stay comfortable and confident throughout the process.
- SW consultants will facilitate mock interviews and provide feedback. Participants will have the chance to practice responding to questions asked in real scholarship interviews!
Campus interviews are an important step in the process of receiving university endorsements for these awards. For Fulbright, all candidates are endorsed; the stronger the endorsement, the better the application does at the national level. For Marshall and Rhodes, only up to a handful of applicants receive endorsement.
Campus interviews mirror those conducted at the national level, so great preparation is helpful beyond endorsement. The interview also provides an important opportunity to receive and process committee feedback on your application, designed to strengthen your application in advance of the final deadline.
