The Donaldson Leadership Retreat is a weekend gathering of student leaders on campus to develop and enhance skills to successfully lead their Registered Student Organizations (RSOs), identify and discuss policies which affect their organizations, as well as understand the importance of collaboration with other student organizations.
The Donaldson Leadership Retreat was created because an alumna saw significant value for being involved in student organizations and wanted to create an opportunity for Illinois students to develop the skills and knowledge to be effective student leaders.
Student leaders will also participate in conversations with campus administrators to discuss some of the key topics that impact students and student organizations at the University of Illinois. This program will not only strengthen the leadership teams of individual RSOs it also seeks to build an RSO community that will collectively work together to solve current and future key issues.
To participate in the retreat, an officer of a registered student organizations (RSOs) will need to complete an application for consideration no later than Friday, August 5th.
