Program description:
Taking the time and making the effort for self-care is always important, but it is critical right now. Join Lisa Merrifield as she guides participants through a discussion of how to take care of your emotional needs during this time of upheaval. She will help participants understand the importance of practicing two types of self-care:
- self-care (lower case): The small habits we can do every day to calm our nerves and refill our tanks, like a bubble bath, a walk, reading a book.
- Self-Care (upper case): The lifestyle habits you can cultivate to make sure your self-care (lower case) routine really does help you get through this time.
Lisa will then focus on four ways to accomplish this: looking in, looking out, scheduling time and experimenting.
Instructor: Lisa Merrifield
