WECE will be having a panel with one of our bronze sponsors, Jane Street! The talk, "Finance as Engineering", will go over how engineers in their company use their skills learned for finance applications!
Jane Street is a quantitative trading firm that uses advanced technology and mathematical models to trade in financial markets. Founded in 2000, the firm emphasizes research, collaboration, and the application of computer science and engineering principles. ECE engineers at Jane Street work on optimizing trading systems and developing robust software and hardware infrastructure.
