Presentation Title:  How electronics drive change in the automotive industry

Brief Abstract:

The last decade has seen a dramatic shift in the automotive industry towards electric vehicles. Vehicle architectures are also moving towards an new approach where computation is centralized. Electronics are a key enabler of these industry trends. In this talk, learn about the technical challenges of these trends and how engineers at TI are at the forefront of change.

Biography:

Pradeep Shenoy leads Texas Instrument’s Power Design Services team focused on the automotive market. Pradeep has over 15 years of experience in power electronics working on projects ranging from solar energy conversion to electric vehicle battery chargers. Pradeep obtained the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He received various awards including the Illinois International Graduate Achievement Award in 2010, the Jack Kilby Award for Innovation in 2015, and the IEEE Richard M. Bass Outstanding Young Power Electronics Engineer Award in 2020.
