Codable, a programming RSO on campus, is excited to announce that Prof. David Lindlbauer from Carnegie Mellon University will be giving a talk on VR/AR/MR research and the future of VR/AR/MR (e.g., Metaverse). His research is within the human-computer interaction (HCI) and extended reality (XR - VR/AR/MR) fields. He leads the Augmented Perception Lab, which studies enabling technologies and computational approaches that control when, where and how virtual content is displayed to increase the usability of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality interfaces. He is also the author of many influential papers in his field, including "Remixed Reality: Manipulating Space and Time in Augmented Reality" and "Context-aware online adaptation of mixed reality interfaces."
