TITLE: "Dual Active Bridge Converter with 4-level Flying Capacitor Inverter"
ABSTRACT: In light of the growing number of DC powered data centers, we examine the topology of the converter between the high voltage UPS and the servers in DC data centers. We consider two new, distinct topologies that we propose - dual active bridge and flying capacitor multi-level inverter – that we merge to provide a design with attractive features for this DC powered data center application. We discuss the analytical aspects of the merged topologies and examine the modeling issues. We present the simulation results and the hardware implementation.
