Kyle Cline, IoT Analytics Manager (Cat Digital), is an electrical engineering alumni of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a 4th generation graduate of the Grainger College of Engineering.  Over Kyle’s 15 year career at Caterpillar, he has designed on-machine electrical systems, served as the technical liaison at Caterpillar’s largest factory in South America, and was the technical lead for a complete design of a new motor grader. He currently serves as an analytics manager, leading a team of data scientists who use machine sensor telematics data to understand how customers use Cat machines and better design products and services.

Abstract: The Internet of Things is built on distributed sensing and telematics data connectivity. This presentation will explore the 4th Industrial Revolution, the current state, and the future trends of analytics for the Internet of Things.  See how machine learning advanced analytics techniques, built on telematics data, power predictive machine health monitoring to maximize productivity.
