The Slavic Linguistics Society (SLS) is a professional organization devoted to the systematic and scholarly study of the Slavic languages. The organization brings together academics from Europe and North America (and elsewhere) through the annual conference that alternates between North American and European institutions, a mailing list, and other activities. It seeks to promote dialogue across different sub-disciplines of linguistics and theoretical frameworks.
Formally established in 1965, the Department of Linguistics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is one of the oldest, largest, and most distinguished departments of linguistics in the United States.
Please register to receive information about how to attend the conference virtually. Registration to attend is free, but you will need to complete the Registration Form to receive the relevant Zoom links.
