By engaging her experiences as the Associate Director of The White House Initiative on American Indian/Alaska Native Education during the Obama Administration and working for the National Education Association, Sedelta will discuss the correlation between degree attainment and shaping the future of Native education. She will also give insight into how higher education provides the essential knowledge and skills to navigate the unique challenges of being a national Native American educational leader. Lunch will be provided from noon to 1 p.m.
