Join us for Illuminating Art in Nature: Ephemeral Experiences, an enchanting outdoor exhibition at the Red Oak Rain Garden on October 29th and 30th from 6-9 PM. This exhibition will showcase stunning ephemeral land art installations created by students from ARTS 252 and curated by ARTE 475, guided by Professors Lindsey Stirek and Somi Lee. The works, crafted from natural materials, aim to harmonize with the environment, promoting sustainability and zero waste. Visitors will experience a unique intersection of art, nature, and community, enhanced by the glow of Jack O' Lanterns lit by LED tea lights. Additionally, a preview of the exhibition is currently running in Gallery 3 as a digital space, where you can get a closer look at the art through artist documentary interviews. This is a meaningful opportunity to explore themes of memory, sustainability, and public engagement in both outdoor and digital realms. We hope to see you there!
