The NCSA Gravity Group spearheads a transdisciplinary science program at the interface of deep learning, large scale computing and data-driven science to push back the frontiers of multi-messenger astrophysics. We are the central hub of gravitational wave astrophysics at Illinois, hosting the LIGO, NANOGrav and LISA science teams.

The NCSA Gravity Group Spring Symposium 2019 is the second event in this series in which we showcase research accomplishments of high school, undergraduate, graduate, postdoctoral and faculty members of the NCSA Gravity Group.

Students will present lightning talks based on their published research to catalyze new collaborations with faculty across units and departments that are already represented in our group, which include: astronomy, physics, electrical and computing engineering, computer science, and industrial and enterprise engineering.

Registration is now open at https://forms.illinois.edu/sec/2866620. Lunch will be provided, but registration is limited to 50 people—first come first served.
