We know that active learning is critical to student engagement and retention of material, but how do you make it happen? In this workshop, you will learn about ways to help your students actively engage with course material to achieve the learning goals of your course.

This workshop is part of the What You Need to Know: Essentials of Course Design series. You may sign up for any or all workshops in the series using the registration form. From 3:30pm-4:00pm after every workshop in the series, you can stick around to learn about Canvas features relevant to the day's topic.

This workshop counts towards the Graduate Teacher Certificate or the Certificate in Foundations of Teaching.
