Compass Spotlight: Grading with Rubrics

Rubrics are scoring tools that help students better understand your expectations while enhancing the consistency and fairness of your grading. They can also increase student motivation and grading efficiency.

 

Workshops begin with a simulation of a common Compass problem and its resolution, placing particular emphasis on ways to connect this concept to your course’s needs and objectives. You’ll then have a chance to ask questions or receive individualized support. This is an “office hours” style session, so feel free to join any time during the hour.
