Once you've figured out what you want students to learn in your course, you need to consider how you'll tell if students are meeting these goals. This can get more complicated in online courses, where instructors and students have little control over the testing environment. In this session, we'll explore the kinds of assessments you can use, what purposes they serve, and what kinds of things can be assessed online.

This workshop is part of the 2020 Summer Workshop Series.  Each workshop in the series involves pre-work to complete before attending a Zoom session.  Register to be sent the Zoom link for the session and to be informed of the pre-work.

Completing the pre-work and participating in the Zoom session will count for 1.5 hours towards the workshop requirement of the Graduate Teacher Certificate or the Certificate in Foundations of Teaching.
