Modern rock hits Krannert Center Uncorked as C-U stalwarts Modern Drugs takes Stage 5 in the Krannert Center lobby!
Formed in Champaign-Urbana in 2020, Modern Drugs makes hook-laden power pop with healthy doses of guitars, synths, and harmonies. Their sound draws on vintage influences (The Cars, Fleetwood Mac, ELO) filtered through a modern lens (The Strokes, Metric). Their second full-length album, Lines We Draw, was released in August 2026. They are a major force in the ever-expanding Champaign-Urbana music scene.
