The Rural Midwest in the 1980s and After by Pamela Riney-Kehrberg, a Distinguished Professor of History at Iowa State University, where she has taught since 2000. She is a Fellow of the Agricultural History Society, and also winner of the Agricultural History Society’s James C. Giesen Award for Excellence in Teaching Rural and Agricultural History, as well as the Gladys Baker Award for Lifetime Achievement in Agricultural History.
