In this talk, Dr. Moussawi revisits some concepts from his book Disruptive Situations to think about the current moment we are living, particularly: queer situations, queer temporalities and affect, and everyday life disruptions. While disruptions have been tied to resistance, sudden changes, and/or as structures of dispossession, Dr. Moussawi invites readers to think of how they are all connected, through coloniality.
