Meet the woman breaking down barriers in Israel: Ashager Araro. Araro helped lead a movement which culminated in the founding of Ethiopian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv. She will speak about the work that the center has engaged in, both before and during the pandemic, and its struggle to survive in the face of increasing COVID-related pressures. Araro has also been involved in the Black Lives Matter and social justice movements in Israel, and we will ask her to share her perspective on those experiences. Register for the event.
