Dance at Illinois will present the Flatlands Dance Film Festival on Friday, August 30 and Saturday, August 31, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., at the Spurlock Museum, 600 South Gregory Street, Urbana, IL. Tickets are $10/general admission and $5/students and seniors. Tickets are available at the door. The festival opens on Friday, August 30, with the festival's feature length film, La Chana. Saturday, August 31, will be the adjudicated Short Films Competition Program, highlighting sixteen short dance films from a variety of different countries.

In addition to this year's festival, on Saturday Aug 31 from 2-4pm there will be a free workshop held in the DRK dance studio at the Krannert Center of Performing Arts.
