In "The Fabrication, Materials, Design, Cultural Context, Uses, and Miracle of Paper," Sidney E. Berger explores the most extraordinary forms of paper decoration, and offers a look at many of its uses. 

Berger is director emeritus of the Phillips Library at the Peabody Essex Museum of Salem and an adjunct professor in the School of Information Sciences. He is the author of _The Dictionary of the Book: A Glossary for Book Collectors, Booksellers, Librarians, and Others_ (2016).
