Title: Mechanisms of behavioral impairment in epilepsy

 

Abstract:

Neural network mechanisms appear to underlie behavioral impairments seen in animal models of childhood epilepsy. The potential role of melanocortin receptor agonism during development in modulating neural dynamics and behavior in an early life seizure model will be discussed.
