Join the European Union Center at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign on Wednesday, December 8 at 12 P.M. CST for a virtual panel showcasing translation-related careers. The panel will feature five translators who work in diverse sub-fields within translation (including literary translation, software and video game localization, and commercial and legal translation) and with a wide range of languages (English, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Polish, Spanish, and Swedish). The panelists will give an overview of their sub-fields, share their own educational and professional trajectories, and provide career advice for students interested in exploring translation. There will be an opportunity for Q&A after the panel discussion.
