"(Not So) New Actors / New Configurations of the EU Border Regime: Control and Solidarity in Greek Refugee Camps Since the 2015-16 'Refugee Crisis'"
This presentation will tackle the changes that have occurred since 2015-16 regarding both control of mobility and solidarity towards asylum seekers and refugees, as they have been exemplified in the south-eastern border zone of the EU, i.e. in Greece. Specific emphasis will be put on the intersections between state, non-governmental, local, supra-national and international actors who have been coexisting at specific spatio-temporalities of mobility and its 'management'.
